Finally Deciding.....Maybe

I have decided to stay at Dixie State College for the remainder of my schooling. I plan on moving out this spring semester with a couple of my friends. I have decided for the moment that after I get my Associate degree in science that I am going to go into integrated studies. That means I get to choose to areas of emphasis and get a Bachelor degree in about two years. The two areas I have decided to do are: Communication (Human track),Management and Operations. What I really want to do is manage like a Recreation center and be in charge over the pool. I also want to work or be involved with the American Red Cross. I think this degree will help me acheive those goals. I would be willing to manage just about anything I guess, but anyways that is my life at the moment, school-school and more school.

Summer!!!

I am officially done with my freshman year of college! I will now be able to move up into the ranks, although at this point I have no clue what I want to go into anymore. I have a couple ideas but they are very different from one another so I will need to decided soon. The choices I have come up with is a nurse, medical radiographer, CSI or a Park Ranger. It may sound silly but I think being a Park Ranger would be pretty darn fun, it seems like something I would be interested in. But for now I just have to worry about getting a job for the summer.

I plan on working as a lifeguard this summer, I am a little concerned about getting hired but positive that I should be able to get the job. So if I get the job I will be able to work full-time throughout the summer.

Since college is over and my job doesn't start for a couple of weeks I have been helping mom and dad somewhat with the yard, also mom dad and I have started on a diet, this has included me in going to the gym with Josh. It has been going good so far and I hope to do the 2 mile challenge every day.

Nothing else is new in my life, I have moved home for the summer and might have to stay home for fall semester. It will just depend on how much money I make during the summer and how the money situation is. Other than that nothing new....just waiting to start work anyways asta la vista!

Starting a new semester :)

Well I am into the second week of the new semester :) I have decided that this semester is going to be a little harder. I am taking History 1700, Biology 1610 plus a lab and English 1010 along with LIB 1010 which is totally retarded. But so far I have been keeping up on my homework :) So you should all be happy.

It was a little interesting in my biology class, my teacher is from South Africa. He is white and in no way can I come close to saying his name, so if I ever have to ask a question I will just have to say professor (by the way his name is Marius Van Der Merwe) I was a little worried the first day because I was having a little bit of a hard time telling what he was saying. But now for some reason it is no problem at all! and he is quite the awesome teacher! Now my lab teacher on the other hand, she is very cool but tends to explain things too long. But I met a girl in my lab class who is totally awesome! We have been lab partners since we met the first day, we just get along so well!

My english teacher is quite cool too, she said all we are going to do is write. At first I was not excited whatsoever, but then I figured that I really need to learn how to write, so it will be totally worth it. My professor just recently retired from the Army I think. She was in there for over 31 years, but still to me at least looks very young. She has a masters in english. Oh and by the way LIB 1010 is a total waste of my time.

Last but not least my history teacher is quite annoying at times. He talks like in this deep south accent, he tries to tell funny jokes that honestly no one gets. But oh well, I will just deal with it... It is hard though, I have never been a fan of history at all. But in actuality I am learning some interesting things along the way!

I am also taking institute, which dad threatened me with my life :) if I didn't take it. I am take the first part of the book of mormon. It only started last week so I have been once. It was okay, I hope when I go more it will become more interesting!

But anywho I am keeping plenty busy!! And getting used to studying in college for me has been extremely difficult, and I am getting slowly used to it.

Last but no least I give a talk on Feb 8.........I just thought I would mention it...not that I want anyone to come down and see it...ha ha anyways lov ya all!!!! a whole bunch!!!!

Finals.... :(

Well I am getting super excited to be done with this semester. But I am actually sad to be leaving one of my classes, my CNA class. We became to be a really close class. But I finally got done with the final so I am done besides taking the state test and skills test. Which by the way I don't even get my vouchers until feb.

Other finals in school should go pretty well. I get a take home final from my psy teacher. He is retiring after this semester and wanted to give us a good present! Then my math final is not till next wed, and it is a comprehensive final...which I am not to excited about..but oh well. Then I had my lifeguarding final last week which was super easy.. I got 100% on everything.. and got recertified! So as finals go I am basically done!

Well nothing too new in my life is happenning. I did get a calling in my ward as a family home evening coordinator, along with one other girl. So thats pretty cool I guess.

But other than that nothing new to report in my life other than.... brothers of mine you don't have to worry about me bringing a boy to our little christmas celebration in Cali! Just a heads up!

Scary Moments

Well basically I had an awesome time last week! On friday we had a smore party at one of my friends that lives in Bloomington! But since she didnt have a fire pit, we decided to do it over the barbecue! It actually works a lot better because you don't smell like smoke in the end, even though some people got very inventive in there smoreing. Then we decided to go to Wal-Mart and play a game where you pick a letter then in 15 minutes get as many things with that letter as you can! Well I was partners with my roomie Jen, and we totally kicked butt and won! (we even beat they boys ha ha). But what was really interesting is during our escapade there was a shop lifter in Wal-Mart (we were there at like 2 am). After that we went and watched flushed away! So my roomie and I didn't get home till like 4am, and didn't go to bed until 5am. Then on Sat me and some people from my ward went to the haunted hospital! Let me tell ya it was pretty darn scary!!! They wern't supposed to touch you but they did anyways, and I had people like breathing on me, but I kept my eyes opened the whole time, but screamed my head off! It was really good, but at the end a guy chased us out with the chain saw (we are not supposed to run!!!, but we had too) and one of my friends hailey almost fell in a pit and died, but luckily she didn't fall in! Just to let you all know I am being more social!! and getting to know some awesome guys in my ward, and hang out with them a lot more! In fact last night I got some cd's that my friend Todd made some cd's which are totally awesome!!!!!! So anyways I am having a totally awesome time!!! so anyways :)

College Life

Well as most of you know I have started college!!!. It has been super fun. Especially with all the super hot men (I can call them men because they aren't in highschool anymore) even though there are still immature boys.

Class has been going pretty well. I have been getting everything done ahead of time! Which is really good because I usually leave it till the last second.

I have come to find that the food at the cafe is not the best in the whole world...but I think I can just stay away from the chicken and be fine. We had chicken one day and it was the grossest thing in the whole world... My roomate and I eat there but stay away from the chicken...we got pretty grossed out by it.

Other than that there is really nothing to say... I am doing awesome and having a blast! I never knew college could be so much fun!! One more thing to add, some of you thought that I would have my bubble popped by the smallness of my dorm (because I have had a room all to myslef basically my whole life) But it has been way fun!! The smallness really doesn't really bug me at all. And I love my roomates to death they are so cool!! And we all seem to get along really well

MY LIFE!!

I haven't written for awhile, because I have been quite busy with winding down as a senior and all. Well good news I am going to graduate!!! I know so exciting.... I am finally done with my college classes which is a relief, because I have to do a bug collection with 30 bugs total. I hate bugs..I don't touch bugs....bugs are just disgusting..so I kinda have a problem, but I will manage to get through it. Well I got a job at the pool again! We have some exciting new people coming our way, and it should be intresting to see what goes on.
Oh yea to go completely off subject I get to go to New York City for 9 days. I am so excited we get to go to upstate New York and New York City... it should be really fun.
Also to add I never added pictures from London...I figure if you really want to see them you can come to my house and see them....their are a ton of them and it is hard to pick from just a couple.
To close I will be sending out graduating announcements. So don't be worried you are all invited, there is unlimited space.
So yea this is basically my life...oh yea I have a boyfriend!!!!

LONDON!!!

Well we went to London during spring break last week. To tell you a little about our trip well to begin with, it was very cold and wet and rainy. When we got to London the people that were supposed to give us the key to our apartment wern't their. So we were waiting in the freezing rain. Luckliy dad and mom got it figured out for us. It was pretty neat we stayed in a nice apartment, and guess what it was called.....that's right the Utah building. We were staying in our own state!I had tons of fun going to London I got a taste of what it was like to be in a different country.We got to visit lots of old historic places,museums and WICKED!By the way I totally loved Wicked, it was the best play I think I have ever seen in my life, thier is just no way to describe how good it was!!!! Even though I must admit the play's that my brother Lanny is in rank up pretty close to the top too:) If you ever get to see Wicked, do so, it was so enjoyable to watch it, I am even lost for words.Well to get onto a different part of London life I will tell you some of the words that are popular their. There is the word cheers, ta (thanks),mate etc.... I found myself trying to use these words to try and act cool, but mom and dad said I just shouldn't because I was sounding like an American :)The scenery is beautiful in London, it is so green and thier are cute people walking their dogs everywhere. Mom said that they have nice big parks because their living is so close together, which I can see is very true.To end, London was a very great experience, even though I did not enjoy all the museums that much, I can guarantee that I will come to appreciate it later in my life. I thank my mom and dad for the opportuninty I got to go. Who knows I may never be able to go back their agian. To end on a funny note we walked sooooooo much but I guess in the long run it was very good for us, even though I am sore. Well my sleeping schedule is not too messed up there is an eight hour difference but I seem to be holding up ok. Well I am going to put pictures on so that you are able to view the great time we had in London, and to see the cool things we did!

High School never ends

Well I decided since everyone else has a blog, that I would create one too! Well I can't believe it, but I will be graduating soon. Still it feels that high school is never going to end. School is going pretty good, even though their are not cute guys whatsoever. Except for the guys in the younger grades. Which in my opinion is really sad, but oh well.
I am getting pretty good grades! But this week has been extremely stressful! I had to do a test in like every class on especially in AP english. But I survived. Well nothing too interesting in my life right now, other than I will be excited to graduate, I am excited to be going to UVU (UVSC at the moment). I guess to conclude high school will end, and it will end very soon! SCARY!!
